ICC T20 World Cup 2022: Match Schedule, Teams, Venues. The ICC Men’s cricket T20 World Cup 2022, which will be the 8th T20 cricket world cup, has been planned to take place in Australia between the 16th of October and the 13th of November 2022.
The competition was originally scheduled to take place in India between the months of October and November 2021. However, in July 2020, the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that the competition will be moved to 2022 as a result of COVID-19.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) confirmed once again in August 2020 that Australia will be the host nation for the 2022 tournament and that India would be the host nation for the Twenty20 World Cup in 2021.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has narrowed down the list of potential host cities for the 2019 ICC Men’s Twenty20 World Cup to seven locations in Australia. It is anticipated that the matches will take place in each of these cities.
However, this is subject to change based on the circumstances surrounding Covid at the moment in question.
On November 16, 2021, the International Cricket Council (ICC) will make the announcement. The announcement will be on which cities in Australia will play home to a total of 45 Twenty20 World Cup matches in 2022.
The cities included are Melbourne, Sydney, Geelong, Hobart, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Perth.
According to a press release issued by the ICC, the MCG, Sydney Cricket Ground, Kardinia Park Stadium, The Gabba, Adelaide Oval, Bellerive Oval, and Perth Stadium are the seven locations that have been selected to host matches during the Twenty20 World Cup in 2022.

It has been decided that the competition will take place in Australia. This partnership extends to both the finals of the World Test Championship as well as the 2021 World Cup for Men’s Twenty20 Cricket.
ICC qualifying matches will be played in Qatar for the very first time. In the global qualifying tournament for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022, Qatar will participate alongside Maldives, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait.
